Reda BAHRI

Director, Head of UK & APAC, Program Director

Reda is a founding partner and director of Atum Consulting, a global commodity market specialist focused on process, trading and risk management systems (CTRM/ETRM) implementation and change management in the area of energy, soft commodities and metals.

He has about 12 years of experience in systems implementation, support, and change management among some of the largest Investment Banks and Trading Houses in Europe and Asia.

He has founded Atum Consulting in 2009 after spending some time with the French Invenstment Bank Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Bank where he was in charge of Business Analysts for the Commodity Front-Office division, as well as all the new Commodity products to be traded and implemented in the group systems.

He is an expert in Front-Office and Risk systems, and has been working more specifically on the Energy complex (Crude and Products) as well as Physical Metals in the past 7 years.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Information System from the leading engineering school SUPELEC in France, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the IAE. Reda currently lives between London, Geneva and Singapore. He is fluent in French, English, German, Spanish and Italian.

Guillaume CORTADE

Executive Director, Head of Energy & Central Banks, Senior Consultant

Guillaume is a Senior Consultant with a wide experience of Quant/Risk (and Front Office) issues and their software solutions. With an 18-year career on three continents across many different clients, he has provided superior delivery both in commodities (with a lot of energy expertise) and capital markets. His solution-focused approach has been tried and tested not only at Openlink where he worked for over 11 years but also directly with clients and other software providers.

    Jerome CLAUW

    Executive Director, Head of Soft and Agricultural Commodities, Senior Consultant

    Jerome is a Senior consultant of Atum Consulting, a global commodity market specialist focused on process, trading and risk management systems (CTRM/ETRM) implementation and change management in the area of energy, soft commodities and metals.

    He has about 10 years of experience in systems implementation, support, and change management among some of the largest Trading Houses in Europe and US.

    He has extensive knowledge of Logistic through various position in the fertilizer industry. He is an expert in Front-Office, Back office and Risk systems, and has been working more specifically on Physical Metals and Agriculture projects in the past 7 years.

    He holds a Bachelor Degree in Trade Marketing Management from the Business School ACI Negocia in France, He is living currently in France on the swiss border with his wife and their 4 children. He is fluent in French, English, Spanish.

    Simon COPPEN-GARDNER

    Head of Project Managers & Business Analysts, Senior Consultant

    Simon is a senior Consultant with Atum Consulting, a global commodity market specialist focused on process, trading and risk management systems (CTRM/ETRM) implementation and change management in the area of energy, soft commodities and metals.

    Simon has joined Atum Consulting in 2015 and has worked mostly on CTRM and ETRM implementations for major Trading Houses across Europe and North America for the past few years.

    He has about 26 years of experience in systems implementation for major Trading Houses like Noble Group and Trafigura, and has been a CIO in charge of all systems maintenance and enhancements with Arcadia Petroleum.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science from the Kingston University in the United Kingdom. Simon currently lives in Greater London with his wife and family.

    Guillaume NIVAT

    Head of Technology & Developments, Senior Consultant

    Guillaume is the Head of Technology of Atum Consulting Switzerland GmbH, a global commodity market specialist focused on process, trading and risk management systems (CTRM/ETRM) implementation and change management in the area of energy, soft commodities and metals.

    After 30 years closely related to computer science and IT systems, he is always passionate by this world, and also always amazed by the inefficiency of most IT projects. The first target that he follows for any client is to keep the project on moving by being pragmatic and agile. Two behaviors that clients usually use in their daily business but surprisingly not for their IT projects.

    Guillaume has joined Atum Consulting in 2015 and has embraced a few projects for some major Metals and Soft Commodities Trading Houses. Prior to this he was the Head of Professional Services with Brady Plc, a leading vendor of CTRM, excelling in Metals among other asset classes.

    He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Ecole Polytechnique Federale Lausanne. Guillaume currently lives in France on the Swiss border with his wife and their 2 children.

    Pierre CHABANIAN

    Head of Quality Assurance & Testing, Senior Consultant

    Pierre is the Head of Testing and Quality Assurance in Atum Consulting Switzerland GmbH, a global commodity market specialist focused on process, trading and risk management systems (CTRM/ETRM) implementation and change management in the area of energy, soft commodities and metals.

    During his extensive international career which started in 1987 in Geneva, Pierre Chabanian has been in charge of a large client portfolio for the commodity software vendor Fintel/Viveo (later acquired by Brady) and has occupied IT functions (IT Manager, CTRM/ETRM Support Specialist, Business Analyst) and business functions (Contracts Executant, Contracts Administration Manager, Statistics & Market Research Manager) for several international commodity/energy trading groups in Switzerland, the Netherlands and the USA.

    Sylvain CASSIER

    Head of Finance & Controlling, Senior Consultant

    Sylvain has about 12 years of experience in finance, transactions, restructuring, systems implementation and transition management in trading and industrial companies. He has worked in various locations in Europe, Africa and Asia.

    He has started his career with the French cement and concrete company Vicat where he participated to the restructuration of the financial information and the implementation of new reporting systems. He also was in charge of the integration of acquired companies as well as some merger plans.

    In the past 5 years he has been involved in debt restructuring and transaction processes for Addax Bioenergy SA and Louis Dreyfus Metals SA.

    He holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Finance from EM Lyon Business School.

    Yacine GUENDOUZI

    Compliance & Regulatory, Senior Consultant

    Yacine is an Atum Consultant focusing on Data Management and Analytics, enabling his clients to
    make the most of their data and optimize data flows. He has worked on multiple projects in Metals Trading and Energy, from Quantitative development to Reporting and Compliance.

    Yacine is currently working on advising our clients on how to manage their data to reach MiFID II compliance, particularly with Market Abuse and has been in business functions (Execution, Reporting and Transactions). In the past he designed and delivered a tool enabling an R&D lab to visualize SmartGrid data and optimize information flows.

    He also has experience in systems implementations and integrations, having supported the implementation of a CTRM system for a leading commodity merchant and conducted Agile testing for a Metals Concentrates CTRM.

    Yacine holds a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from the leading school Supélec in France. He lives in Geneva and is fluent in French and English.

    Frederic LEVET

    Head of IT Infrastructure and Support, Senior Consultant

    Frederic is Head of IT Infrastructure and Support of Atum Consulting Switzerland GmbH, a senior IT Infrastructure Engineer focused on support, infrastructure and monitoring , but also on IT management , implementation and change management in the area of trading and finance among various other domains.
    After 15 years closely related to computers and IT systems, he is always passionate by this world and also enthusiast to implement and lead new IT projects during the entire process.

    The first target that he follows for any client is to keep the project on moving and solutions founded and applied asap by listening the needs and the client :
    two behaviors that clients always enjoyed from him since 15 years.

    Frederic has joined Atum Consulting in September 2018 and prior to this he was the IT Engineer at Brady Plc,
    a leading vendor of CTRM, excelling in Metals and other asset classes.

    Frederic is a certified MBCS,Microsoft and Vmware professional.
    He currently lives near the Swiss-French border but he’s always enthusiast of travelling and visiting any country and client wherever they are in the world.

    Tim Skelton

    Senior Commodities Trading Developer

    Tim is an experienced business analyst with a proven track record of supporting the business and technology needs of clients trading physical commodities, particularly those with substantial oil and coal and more recently metals and soft commodity assets.

    Over the last 8 years he has supported C/ETRM and ERP implementations and enhancements during periods of rapid expansion and technology transition at a number of refiners and investment banks in Europe and North America.

    He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Edinburgh with a year on exchange at Humboldt Universitaet zu Berlin. He currently lives in London with his wife and son
